Titus Syrachs de Vries - Jannetje Teunise de Nysse

There is a long standing misconception about Jannetje Teunis being wife of Syrachs de Vries or Jan Hansz Bergen. It has been established some time ago that Jannetje Teunis de Nysse born 22 Dec. 1641 of Theunis Nyssen (NA DRC) marr. Teunis Syrachs de Vries by 1663 . The original " de Vries" was an explanation of his origin meaning "the Frisian" it is not pertaining to a place. There are many issues here already solved long ago.

So the Titus profile you've started this discussion from is actually Teunis Syrachs de Vries who was from Friesland not Drenthe?

The incorrect marriage to Jan Bergen was disconnected several months ago but Bergen was not removed from her name fields, i have correct that now Jannetje Teunis de Vries

The placement of his children remains with few exceptions unknown. The only baptismal records are for Tryntje 25 Dec. 1663 in NA DrC, Syrach28 Dec/ 1679 and Jannetje Mar. 1682. Placement of other children can only be assumed by their marriage date.' So it is unlikely that Francis Titus was born in 1685 as he marr. ANnetje Fonteyn ab. 1699/1700. Francis was likely born 1675
