My understanding is Robert Heather1709-80 wed Elizabeth Wennington1726/30-85, & had kids Robert1858-37, John1760- & others.
Son Robert wed Cherry Timmins nee Williams1759-1815, & they had a son John1789-1817 who wed Elizabeth Mary(unknown)1789-1871. John/Elizabeth had kids James~1810-, Charles, Pricilla & probably Frederick1830-, Emily1835- & John1830-.

Geni now has Elizabeth married to the nephew rather than the uncle - is that correct?

Yes, I believe Elizabeth Mary's husband John Heather was born on 29.3.1789, not in 1760 [his uncle John's birth year].
