John Brewer III (of VA) - Who Is the Correct Wife? I have added four sources and all are saying Elizabeth Rice

I see the Discussion from previous dates. So interesting. Ok. Wrong wife but we need sources--can someone add some regarding the Anne wife/marriage?

I participated in the early endeavors to straighten out the what became two separate Brewer immigrant lines: one in Massachusetts and the other in Isle of Wight Co, VA. I became friends with a Brewer who had his tree on MyHeritage and it went back to all Brewers in Mass. But he still wanted to connect his line to Dr. William Brewer of Somerset (Chard). The problem is the big difference in the ydna between the VA line and the Mass. line. Elizabeth Rice clearly belongs to the Mass. line which has a different set of successive Johns and the third one is named Jonathan. Also the Mass. Brewers had more military rank connected to their Johns and Jonathans prior to the American revolution. For the moment we don't care about leaving John III's wife unknown when number 2's wife was a Reade and a relative of the Washington family. And then we love Sarah Lanier, the wife of George G. Please, let's not give John Brewer III a Massachusetts wife. Respectfully to all from a son of a Brewer mother who came from Virginia and North Carolina and then Indiana.
