Per the NYC marriage register 3/29/1914 Louis' parents were father Eshiel and mother Chana Knab. Per his death certificate from 1/27/1947 the father is Eherl, mother Hannah Goldstein. Note that an entirely different pair of parents is listed on brother Leon's marriage document. Hence, the parents of this generation aren't in the tree, but just described in these two discussions.
