According to the New York marriage register, 12/4/1941, Rubin Krat married Caroline Lerner. There are too many Caroline Lerners to be sure I can pick the right one, hence I'm just putting it into the discussion tab. Two Lerners were born in 1920 and lived in The Bronx (as did the Krats). One of them lived 1.6 miles from Rubin, but I found that she got married to somebody else. The other one lived 3.8 miles from Rubin: at 1472 Montgomery Ave., father Israel, 55, born Russia; mother Lena, 42, born Russia. Siblings Arnold, 21, and Gloria, 13. Also found a Social Security Death Index record for Caroline Shirley Krat, b. 3/31/1920 (probably in NY, which state issued the SSN), d. 8/2/2010 in San Diego.
