Can anyone identify her origins?

She was not the same person as Esther Cann born at Weymouth - the two have been given each other’s vital statistics.

She is not listed as a daughter of William "of Weymouth" Reade in “standard” Sources such as History of Weymouth

Her second husband seems like a cipher also & shouldn’t be.

I think the name “Reade” attributed to her is a mixup with the Esther Read born at Weymouth in 1641.

Torrrey’s New England Marriages before 1700 has no maiden name for her:

Is it possible John Gray, of Norton was the same person as John Grey ?

There’s a Joseph Gray Sr & a Jr in Taunton in the 1680s.
