Presently, the mother of Norman Macleod may be incorrectly attributed to Janet Macleod. Apparently, Malcom had an "irregular union with Janet Macleod, a crofter tenant's daughter on the island by whom he had issue." This is what is the record of a derivative source, THE HISTORY OF THE MACLEODS.
In the HISTORY OF THE MACLEODS, on pages372, Mary Mackenzie is attributed as the mother
Norman Macleod
Half siblings of Norman Macleod would then include Janet Mcleod's children:
5. Alexander Macleod, who married Elizabeth MacDonald with issue.
6. The Rev. Malcom Macleod, minister of Snizort (died 1832)
7. Anne who married M. Cordonniere, a Frenchman

I’m reading the child of Janet MacLeod and Malcolm, 8th of Raasay as Alexander, not Norman.

I’ll try a screenshot on his profile.
Moved Norman Macleod as son of Mary McKenzie as per source.
Will enter Janet Macleod’s daughter Anne.
The source has “crofter’s daughter of the island.” Which Island?
Erica, Presumably it's the Isle of Raasay is located on the West Coast of Scotland near Skye given that the entry was made in THE HISTORY OF MACLEODS, THE MACLEODS OF RAASAY page.
I would love to go there!
