Please note respective birth dates: Jone Hill c. 1605, Capt. Richard Hill c. 1610 (http://espl-genealogy.org/MilesFiles/site/p66.htm#i6544).

"Richard was born in 1608 at England. Lucy Ames Edwards showed his birth as 1622 in England. However, Henrietta Dawson (Ayres) Sheppard in her extensive work entitled Ayres-Dawson and Allied Lines shows that Captain Richard Hill, a co-founder of the Province of Maryland, was born in England circa 1608-10."

Capt. Richard Hill's son of the same name (Richard Hill Jr.) was also entitled to be called "Captain", and the two are frequently and easily confused. Not to mention other, probably unrelated Richard Hills on the Delmarva Peninsula.

We have, in fact, a nasty little rats' nest with her married to her own son.

The only Henry Hill in the Miles Files who married a Jane or Joan (or Jone) was (probably) born about a generation later (c. 1640, possibly earlier). He was married twice and had sons Richard and Henry by his unnamed first wife. Jane or Jone was his second wife, and they had a son Francis. http://espl-genealogy.org/MilesFiles/site/p795.htm#i79450

The recurrence of the names "Richard" and "Henry" suggests, but is a long way from proving, that he was related in some degree to Capt. Richard Hill.

Sorted out the rats' nest, but we're left with a little disconnected stub-end of a tree (unfortunately).
