If we add our ancestors profiles to this project, when we see in their Wills they named their Slaves, willing them to their heirs, wouldn't it be a possible way for people, at times our cousin’s, to find their enslaved ancestor. Unfortunately, I had more Plantation owner’s than Abolitionist in my lineage, we should all work together in the future, learning from the past ignorance of the 17th century European men who formed this country. They did as they were taught for generations of wealth, but we do exist because of our Ancestors. Quaker’s also owned slaves up to a certain time period. American Indian’s also enslaved people.

So, as I'm reading though my great-grandparent’s Wills, letters, and documents I will be adding them to the Slavery In the United States Project.

Sadly, I’ve had better luck adding profiles to the project:

Than to https://www.geni.com/projects/American-slaves/11488

Thank you for sharing documents, so important for those researching their ancestry.
