As far as Robert Larin is concerned in his biography of Pierre Lorrain published in 1995 'Quatre Cousins loudunais en Nouvelle-France' (Méridien press) Pierre Lorrain was already married to Françoise Hulin before they immigrated in 1655. I have found no further marriage records to contradict this. In fact the birth of their son soon after their arrival tends to indicate they were probably newlyweds.
