Margaret MacLeod - Is the father of Margaret Macleod correct?

Did "Margaret Macleod," the daughter of John MacLeod, marry William MacLeod?
This seems unusual, though it's plausible.

The source for this is The MacLeods - The Genealogy of Clan, ii, 65 and 111. The ultimate source is a document in the Hamer Family Papers at Dunvegan, which I have not myself seen.

There was a lot of cousin intermarriage among the MacLeods, and presumably other Highland families as well!
