Re Quoting a tree on My Heritage tree as a source.

Question. Should entries in trees constructed by numerous other family historians be considered as valid sources of reference?

No one has responded as yet, but because we on Geni also get notified of Smart Matches, I wanted to augment the above.

Once again, there is seldom anything to show whether a Smart Match is derived from a genuine Archival Source, or just someone else's submission to their own tree. As I can no longer afford to just ignore these, I have now begun adding them, but as they have yet to be verified, I have to include a side note to show my own element of uncertainty. What do others do?

I would not add unless I verified. In other words, treat as a clue or a hint.
