We do have the Wills and documentation of The Hudson Family of Hanover Virginia, posted with William Hudson. Someone along the way picked up the name of John William Hudson, could find no documentation of that name. It was “William “ Hudson and there was a Captain John Hudson.
There was no son named Edward D. Hudson and he was born in South Carolina merged with a family from Hanover, VA
