I need help with extra eyes looking over Williams Will I posted on his profile. He had 5 children which he carefully listed in his will. He now has an extra son?

The lineage is a mess. Too many people are trying to merge wrong parents and we had extra parents. I’m still trying to sort it out, but It’s a huge mess... it’s been going on too long. I thing we should take extra care with MP’s.

Don’t know how we added
William Joshua Hudson, Jr son ? Born 1796

6/8/2019 at 9:20 PM

He’s not listed on the Will or any documentation

6/8/2019 at 9:41 PM

Children listed in the Will are
1. Frances Wheeler (Hudson)
2. Sarah Harris (Hudson)
3. Elizabeth Wilson (Hudson)
4. Nathaniel Hudson
5. John Hudson

His Will is very clear, he doesn’t say he did not disown anyone. So, if they’re not listed, I would concur they were not his children. Date of Will , attributes on profille.

I would say perhaps William Joshua Hudson was a nephew.

William Hudson is an active DAR, just checked and number still active! This profile and lineage is a shame. I will not put the DAR emblem up until the linage is cleaned up.

Thank you. I am hoping to find a connection to my husbands great grandfather William Henry Hudson b between 1846-1849, Born Rockingham, North Carolina but have had no success finding him. Yet my husband has done DNA and has match with the name of Bragg so now we are wondering how he got the name of Hudson. He married twice. First to Mary E North in Gallia Co, Gallopolis, Ohio then Sarah Elizabeth Chandler in Mason Co, West Virginia. We have census records for 1870, 1880, 1900, 1910 and 1920. No birth or death certificates. If you have any information that might help I would truly would appreciate it.

Interesting, I have Chandler’s in my Paternal lineage.

I’ve have all the names of my Hudson cousins, will have to scan through Ancestry.com and genealogy books records and see who migrated your way later 1800’s. Most of my records started in England MA VA NC 16001700 1800 GA to TX 1840-Present Texas something like that.. for Hudson’s Lancaster

6/9/2019 at 1:58 PM

I'm going to keeping checking out all your Hudson's just in case one of them might have stray our way. Maybe your Chandler line matches ours too.

6/9/2019 at 2:12 PM

I found a connection through the Chandler line also. Thomas Jefferson Chandler is one connection.

6/9/2019 at 2:29 PM

:) I have many paternal Chandler cousins, My weak AncestryDNA testing matches them all the time. FTDNA does too, but that’s a full sequence autosomal testing. I match on that site on paternal and maternal lineage, but both my lineages crossed quite a bit. All lineages migrated to America early 1600’s

Currently Lt. William Hudson shows only one child, Capt. John Hudson & a 1/2 brother.

I know I’m filling them out, I waited a day, was wondering if anyone was going to chime in to talk with thoughts before I proceeded with everything. I will finish today. My MacBook is in shop, getting new Processer or something. I dropped it on tile floor, damaged. Running a bit slower here. Will complete tonight.

I’m not going to ask about mac ‘n tiles .... I need one of those encased in steel jobs to deal with dropsies.
