Isaac Sir Cox - The Knighthood for Isaac Cox

Hi: I'm David Eugene Williams and my dad was Max Eugene Williams (he married my mom Martha Belle Shanklin who's related to US presidents)....my dad gave me a copy of his genealogy and told me he's up the stream related to English Royalty and maybe native Americans too, too like my mom too. And I could show you my typed copy of his genealogy, it's just 4-5 pages long. Tracing from Isaac Cox 1590 to Max Williams 1920. But also, it doesn't call Isaac 'Sir' on our pages...but my dad Max had always told me that both, he, my dad: is related to some English Royalty and because of this he is entitled some land out on Long Island New York. Well my dad fought in WWII under Patton's 3rd Army and only 2 years ago passed away. He lived a full life. Also Max is related to Niall of Nine Hostages who was a king of Ireland. My observation was that Isaac Cox seems to have been 'knighted' erroneously on this tree. Only noted in passing, as it over-lapped with my own research on a different family.
As this is a communal tree, I imagined it would be helpful to future researchers for it to be as accurate possible?

Re: the 4-5 pages you have been given, my only question would be - have you researched it thoroughly? Because the pedigree on here is unsourced & could benefit from citations.

My grandfather (he too fought in WWII; also Palestine & Korea under Farrar-Hockley & was taken prisoner at the battle of the Imjin River) told a very good family story, containing, amongst other things, Jack the Ripper - it obviously turned out to be codswallop. But, it was what had been passed down to him & so he knew no different.
The reality turned out to be more interesting.

My dad, Max E Williams had a cousin David Vidito who was related to Dwight Vidito

and Dwight is still living in Paris, Illinois and he knows a lot of genealogy about the

Williams's and the Caldwells and the Viditos...but little about the Cox's...I had to fill him

in on that. however you could give him a try.

The 2 photo's is from the front page of a 6 pages of genealogy that Dwight Vidito gave my

dad (I think) my dad had it and gave it to me before he died on 4-10-2017 at the age of 96

on 9-29-2020 he will be 100 faught in WWII under Patton's 3rd Army Battle of dunkirk

He's burried up here @ Bremen, IN municiple cemetery back on 4th road.

Michael Jackson...and I'm 2nd cousin 5 times removed from Abraham Lincoln, and

mom's related to the Queen of England and Diana and William and Harry. And

i'm related through her to Miley Cyrus
