Francis Cussons cannot be the wife of Lancelott Chapman b ca 1660, as she was not born then.She was the wife of Lancelot Chapman [b15 Mar 1723 Bishop's Transcripts Hawnby, Yorks., christenings/births 1723-1852] where he appears as
'Lanclott'; they married 29 Jan 1752 in Hawnby. Furthermore there are not any interrnet published marriage records for Hawnby, YORKS. before 1724. The IGI does not have any marriage records for Hawnby before 1724 - so unless somebody has purchased the necessary records there are no wives names in Hawnby for marriages before this date that we can trust.
