Yes, we have lost a special person. Jo—my name for her—was very excited to meet you and your sister. You said it, joyful! My sister was only two years my senior but her body was much older. She had a difficult last few years and is finally at peace. For that reason, I'm choosing to relieve my sadness with memories of better times that we shared many years ago: The joys of our playtimes as little girls. She was a very pretty little girl, and smart, of quiet nature, bouncy brown curls, soft brown eyes and olive skin.
