Does anyone have where this surname was sourced?

The only source I see her mentioned in so far is Andrew W Stitt's petitition to the orphans' court and he only says " the said Samuel Stitt late of Allegheny Township, Armstrong County, and State of Pennsylvania died intestate on the 16th day of July 1849 leaving a widow named Hannah and above nine children" and "that the wife of the said Samuel Stitt deceased left the said Samuel Stitt about nine months before his death and went in company with another man to ???? ???? ????? whether it is so ???? no knowledge where she now resides if she be living that the said Samuel Stitt died seized in his demesne"

The nine months stands out because there is some statue of limitations in claiming next of kin in an orphans' court and nine months happens to be the exact time. However, if she was not actually gone she would of probably already filed claim
