Is it really true that Niels Pedersen married his second wife on the same date they had their first child Peder Nielsen?

Hi Flemming,

The marriage actually occurred 11/6/1824 in Borre. Unfortunately, the marriage record is incorrect. There are mistakes in the marriage record. First, the groom is listed as widower Hans Pedersen Suldrup. There is no Hans Pedersen Suldrup, so it has to be Niels Pedersen Suldrup. Secondly, the bride, Sidse Kirstine Larsdatter (daughter of Lars Madsen), is listed as being 23 years old. This is also incorrect. She was actually 17 years old. Lars Madsen's first child was Sidse Kirstine Larsdatter, born 17/8/1806.
