There never was such a person as "Vickles Butson" (@Vickles Butson). The name is a mis-transcription of a mis-spelling of Nicholas Keam Butson's name in his 16 Apr 1861 2nd marriage with Mary Malyon (whose maiden name is spelled Mallin in the record).
The pastor who married the couple kept a record of all marriages he made during the year. He almost certainly mis-spelled Nicholas as Nickles. At the end of the year, he provided his list to the clerk for the wider area of the church administration. This clerk then hand-copied the list into a single volume that listed the marriage returns of all pastors in the wider area. When this clerk tried to read "Nickles" in the pastor's hand-writing, the clerk further compounded the pastor's mis-spelling of Nicholas' name by changing "Nickles" to "Vickles"
So "Vickles Butson" is really Nicholas Keam Butson (born 6 Nov 1826 at the hamlet of Bedelva/Bodelva (the cottage is still there) in the parish of St Blazey, Cornwall, where he was baptized 19 Feb 1827; died 19 Nov 1922 at Brooklin, Ontario, where he was buried 22 Nov 1922 in Section B, Lot 82, of Groveside Cemetery.
