Hans "der Jüngere" Eggers - Revisions and original Eggers family book

Please note, in Peter v. Manteuffel's comprehensive revision of the Eggers family book, much information not in this tree:
v. 1601 Hans was the elder of the two brothers. He was in 1560 Jurat to St. Jacobi, 1565 Caretaker citizen, 1577 chief St. Gertrude, 1579 senior, 1579 Präses, 1587 Leichnamsgeschworener, 1591 Präses. Hans the Younger made the first records of the family. They were continued by his son Henning <VIII.2> and his grandson Hinrich <X.3>. These records were passed on as later yellowing leaves to the Oberpostmeister Wilhelm Eggers <XIV.39>, who handed them over to the author of the first volume of the family history, Hermann Konrad Eggers <XV.98>, when he had already completed volume 1 would have. The wording of the records of these three chroniclers is therefore only in Bd.
