Was Richard possibly married twice? I found a profile that possibly could belong to his son Richard Christainbury.
Richard Parker, Jr.

Lisa Williford Funderburk, Genesis #AG314661C1 I would hesitate to make that assumption. There were many Richard Parker’s!

See what else you can find ...

Reading profile notes more carefully, I see:

“Richard is listed by the DAR as a Revolutionary War patriot, however, the DAR does not list a wife. While no specific evidence has been cited, some family trees continue to list two wives: (1st) a Mary Harris, believed to be the daughter of a Maj. West Harris Sr.; and (2nd) a Sarah Lentz. The date and place of death &/or burial of Richard's wife or wives remains unknown.”

“In his unrecorded will, dated 6 May 1830, Richard Parker of Rowan Co, NC, "Being weak in body but of Perfect mind and memory," named the following legatees:” ....

.... Son Richard Parker
.... Grandson Richard Parker "by my son Barham"

——

So we know he had a son Richard; but why does he have the Christianbury middle name?

Richard Parker, Jr.

Let’s look in DAR Records.

Lisa Williford Funderburk, Genesis #AG314661C1 You’re in! Merge! But put that middle name in quotes or AKA until sourced - DAR calls him Richard Parker Jr.

The Christianbury was already listed on the profile when I found it.

And don’t be afraid to correct profiles. :)
