That is wonderful news. I might also tell you that I have been DNA matched to his brother, King Richard III Plantagenet, of his bones found in 2014, matched to my DNA ancestor, Elijah Cornwell.

Most interesting.Edward lV is my 13th Great Grandfather through his son Arthur Plantagenet 1 st Viscount ,Lord Lisle whose mother being, Lady Elizabeth Waite, later Lucy. She was Edward's mistress before marriage, and who had promised prior, to marry her.

That was Edward for you. If he couldn't sweet-talk a woman into his bed, he'd promise to marry her, and if she held him to that promise he'd go right ahead and marry her secretly (he did that at least twice) and trust that no one would find him out.

what amazes me more is how the trees grow, sans sources or documentation. the last time I checked, the Wayte lineage was short, but now it has grown. not really complaining, 'cause they appear to be my ancestors too...I just wish some sources were added that would make things more bonafide.

With regards to my earlier post referring to Lady Elizabeth Waite(Wayte), she was the daughter of Sir Thomas and Lady Jane Wayte. This Thomas, was the son of John Wayte of Seginworth and Margaret De Swynhowe.
