Philip Hewett - Philip Hewett

I have recently been researching a Rev. Philip Hewett who according to our Memorial of him, was born in 1799. He was the incumbent rector of Binstead Holy Cross Church, Binstead Isle of Wight, England. We have a memorial to him and also one to his son. He was the rector here from 1833 until his death in 1879. During that time he rebuilt the church, which was literally falling down, and built one that we worship in today. I am hoping that this is the same man can you advise.
