I would love some documentary or DNA evidence to prove who her parents really were. I have not been researching the Parr line, but these parents listed here are purely speculative without any documentary proof. Her maiden name was Parr, that much has been proven by family connections to the family of Marcus Parr, in Franklin County, GA. Marcus took over the care of Sterling Proctor, who was mentally disabled and lived with James Rabun Haley and Elizabeth until their deaths. Marcus then became Sterling's guardian and, finally one of his daughters took over caring for Sterling. Sterling's guadianship file is the support for this. It is available on familisearch.org. I downloaded part of it, but familyseach would not let me downlod the entire file.
