Mary Isham Keith (Randolph) - Death date / location

I do not see another death date?

There does not seem to be dispute over what is known:

“Husband James KEITH and Mary Isham RANDOLPH Keith are buried under chancel of old Elk Run Church, Prince Wm. County ...... now Fauquier County, Virginia.

She was still alive in 1772, as documented by “Abstracts of Fauquier County, Virginia Deed Books 1-9 1759 - 1787 pg 106 Mary Isham Keith (living in Leeds Parish, Fauquier C., VA & widow of James Keith) - 22 Aug 1772, 24 Aug 1772 -- ...”

So a death date of “after 24 Aug 1772 is likely the best we can do.

Erica, - the merge revisions shows the death date 25 Nov 1781 versus 1733, and since it is an exact date it should probably be investigated. She was by the way only 8 years when the son James Keith was born according to his profile.

Thank you Bjørn, I wasn’t looking at Barbara’s profile, I reviewed the Biography.

Barbara would need to explain her version with 1720 - 1733 dates and what supports it.

“Mary Isham Randolph married Rev. James Keith on March 21, 1733. A piece of their wedding cake is still preserved and may be seen in the library at Maysville, Kentucky.”

So we have physical evidence for that as marriage date and not as death date.

Did anyone look to see if son James needed data conflicts resolved ?
