Hi there, thought I would add my great great grandmother here who left Dublin for South Africa in the early to mid 1800's.
She was Mary Murray from Lurcan in Dublin. In South Africa she married a Holgate from UK, a pastors son I believe.
Wonder whether she made the trip alone?
