@Research should be done on Bathsheba Carver's family to see if there is an Edson along that line. There were several Edson families in Mass. at that time. I think an Edson was married to Hilton Decatur Buker, the Edson name occurs for several generations including my grandfather. I have not been successful in my searches for that or for when Decatur Buker came to New England.
