I am researching the connection between the Teal family and Robert the Bruce. Source: Historical Encyclopedia of Illinois, History of Sangamon County Vol II Biographical pg 1588. The biography of Charles B. Sanders Sr. who "married Mary E. Teal in 1861. She was born in Carlisle, Nicholas Co. She was the daughter of Benjamin M. Teal and Elinor Bruce Teal. Elinor is a lineal descendant of Robert the Bruce of Scotland."
Does anyone know anything more about Elinor's ancestry? Any help would be appreciated .
