I try my luck again:
I am trying to find out who his grandfather was (on his mother's side). The information I received from the Horowitz family says that he was the grandson of Hagaon who wrote the book: gaon zvi. The problem in the Horowitz family was a number of people who wrote a book by that name,
And I could not find which one was his grandfather (and my great-grandfather too).
I would be very grateful for any help

Thank you very much, according to randy he is not his grandfather, even the years do not match (I lack one generation), I think his grandfather is:
rabbi zvi HaLevi Horowitz, a.b.d. Glilot and Zamut countries
Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Horowitz, ABD Zamot
son of
hagaon rabbi Joshua Moshe Aharon HaLevi Horowitz
son of:
rabbi Shmuel Schwartzer HaLevi Horowitz
But since it will affect many people very much, I must get a curator's approval that I am right
