- https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Este-11 Research notes:
NOT the daughter of Aldobrandino, who is known to have only one child, Beatrice.
She seems to be only mentioned in online trees. According to Charles Cawley, the wife of Guglielmo (not Giorgio) di Ceva and mother of Luisa, who married Tomaso di Saluzzo, was a daughter of Manfredo di Saluzzo[1]
Nothing also from Treccani (or wikipedia sources) *Italian historians encyclopedic studies have more details around this node, but nothing about her. Probably it's a MP bought in a disaster area then settled.. now it can be eradicated at least from GENI.
Jason Scott Wills What do you think ?
Cut Menzia d'Este loose or rename her to “daughter of Manfredo di Saluzzo” as per http://fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands/MONFERRATO,%20SALUZZO,%20SAVONA.htm...
According to English Wikipedia:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beatrice_d%27Este,_Queen_of_Hungary
Beatrice d'Este (1215 – before 8 May 1245) was Queen consort of Hungary[1] as the third wife of King Andrew II of Hungary.
Beatrice was the only child of Marquis Aldobrandino I of Este but her mother's name and origin is unknown. Since her father died in the year of her birth, she was educated by her uncle, Marquis Azzo VII of Este.
