My name is Heather Bremner. My grandfather, James Glen Bremner was married to Dorothea Christina Auret born ? 1887 in Cape Town or Simon's Town. She died at the age of 27 on 15th November 1914. She left my father @17 months and his sister Doris Gwendoline Bremner who was 25 days old. We think the Auret family took in Doris. She was born on 21st October 1914.
I have Dorothea's death record but can't find any other record of her or Doris.
Family search has connected her to a set of parents but the details are incorrect.
I hope there is someone out there that knows simething about her. I am in California so research is challenging.
