In 1569, the abbess Margaretha van Brederode was given permission to reappoint Bossenhoven on the Probationstag (coin-testing day) on condition that she would adhere to the state ordinances. As the abbess did not trust Van Bossenhoven, she appointed Jan Heidenryckx as the controlling "host" or as the second mint master in addition to this. This later turns out to be Van Bossenhoven's son-in-law and also not reliable. Here is an image of the front and back of a so-called coin weight. These weights were used to check the weight of a coin.
