I got your message. I wonder what is your grandmother Lena's maiden name is?

Mine is Lena Gabbe married to Abraham Silverman. They has three children names are Doris, Elinore, and Leonard.

I am not sure if yours and mine are not same person?

I have no idea what her maiden name was......you cant imagine how much I wish I did.
I have no records. But I do know her name was Lena married to Abraham.
But they only had one son Solomon and one daughter Ethel, my Mother.

Any suggestions for me?

Also......my Mother married my father who was born in Sicily. His original name was Bonanno, but then changed it to Bano.......was he hiding? I so wish I knew more.

Have you check the census, marriage, death, and immigration? Can you remember where and what years of marriage and death? It can help you to find more information.

If I am you, I would go to the genealogy library in cities where it have online of genealogy. Most all website are free. You can check on the Ancestry.com and try to find the census.
