Caiazzo de Romero

I am trying to research this bloodline of my family. Margherita Caiazzo de Romero should be my cousin.

She is de daughter of Giovanni Caiazzo (Mormone) and Hermine Grosz (de Caiazzo). According to the Spanish custom used in Venezuela too (where they certainly lived in the ’70). Margherita (Titta) added the surname of her husband to her surname.

In fact, her father, my Great-uncle Giovanni Caiazzo, wouldn’t normally, in Italy where he came from, be called with the matronimic (de Mormone ) but his mother was Carolina Mormone. His father was Michele Caiazzo.
