Hello,
I have a recent activity list, which sometimes is a mess of updates from collaborators or family group members, and it is sometimes hard to know which updates concern profiles that are in my family group or profiles that I have been working on or follow.
Hence, I wonder if there exist options to filter out everything else than activities concerning profiles
- that are in my family group, or
- that I have been editing or
- that I am following
If you go to your Account Settings - Recent Activity -- you can UNCLICK "Include my collaborators in the Recently Online module on the Home tab" - don't think that helps a whole lot - but its about all I see for controlling it.
Do not know, if you click "unfollow" on profiles if you will be less likely to be told about them - if you "unfollow" a collaborator and still collaborate - no idea if that would help (or even if you were following them - I don't collaborate in Geni's sense of the term)
Thanks, Louis and Bjørn.
Unfollowing a collaborator did not help.
Bjørn's proposal would probably give a list of recent updates within my family group, but not of profiles that I am following outside my family group.
The list in the merge center has options to view merges within my family group, of profiles that I follow, requested by collaborators or that I have requested myself. I hope that it would be possible for those behind Geni to make changes so that it would be possible to filter the recent activities list in a similar way.
