Before I entered family info, I could see a way I was distantly connected to my FIL's family by marriage (other than by my own marriage). Now I only see the data I put in with my direct FIL connection. Is there a way to put in say, someone in my FIL's family, and then one of my ancestors, and see their connection (so as to not involve the connection of my marriage)?

In general, can you say, "How are these two people connected?' when one of them is not you?
Thanks!

The answer is yes, and Bjorn has supplied the link describing how to do it.

Thank you for the link!
I can’t seem to see the previous path I had seen. I guess Geni gives the more direct one, through me, instead of the more convoluted one. Is there anyway to see the other path again?
