Hi Aaron, How do you know that Moritz is son of Theresia and Abraham Bullowa?
I have added a Moritz son of Theresia and Abraham Bullowa who was born 20 Mar 1844 in Lubenec (taken from Bohemian Jewish Birth Register). However your Moritz is stated to be 12 years older.
This is the Moritz that I have added:
Moritz Bullowa
I can normally access Ancestry which should confirm the birth of Moritz who died 1887, but I subscription expired a few days ago, and I am not renewing it for a few days.
Pleased to discuss further
Peter
For what it's worth...
Moritz Bullowa (d. 1887/married Mary Greenhut)'s year of birth is given as 1834, and his father's name is given as Judah on his marriage record (and his place of birth -- Lubinetz, Bohmen -- is incorrectly recorded as his mother's name):
"New York, New York City Marriage Records, 1829-1940," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:244G-QBD : 10 February 2018), Moritz Bullowa and Mary Grunhut, 24 Jun 1866; citing Marriage, Manhattan, New York, New York, United States, New York City Municipal Archives, New York; FHL microfilm 1,530,643.
His burial (apparently, no photo) also gives a birth date of 10 Mar 1834:

Census records also consistently give a birth year around 1834.
There is a Maurice Bullowa, b. ~1834, living in the U.S. already in 1860:
"United States Census, 1860", database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MC4N-JHW : 12 December 2017), Maurice Bullowa in entry for Morris Opper, 1860.
...which seems less likely (but not impossible) if he were only 16 years old at the time.
There are no births (at all) recorded in 1834 in Lubenec, so things remain somewhat unclear. Does anyone know if there was a Leib/Juda/Arje Bullowa in Lubenec?
OK, I have found a photo of Moritz Bullowa (d.1887)'s grave in New York:
https://www.geni.com/photo/view/6000000023673442321?album_type=phot...
If I am reading the stone correctly -- both the name featured prominently in the center arch, and also the name featured in an acrostic down the right side -- then Moritz's Hebrew name was Aharon ben Avraham (Bullowa).
This lends credence to the hypothesis that Moritz d. 1887 in New York is the same as Moritz son of Abraham and Theresia Kornfeld Bullowa whose birth was recorded in Lubenec.
There seems to have been some inconsistency in the recording of births in Lubenec, perhaps if they were copied after-the-fact -- Private User , I think it was you who noted that a couple of Abraham's sons (Joseph and Samuel) were marked "ehelich", but were born prior to their parents' apparent marriage -- and it seems plausible that Moritz's birth date could have been recorded incorrectly. Or perhaps his birth was recorded correctly, and he decided to add a decade when he came to America...
Thanks for this excellent research. It looks certain that the parents of Moritz (died 1887) are correct. So I think the two trees should be merged, but for the moment, lets keep the two profiles of Moritz separate.
I do not want to merge Randy's profile of Theresia (though the correct person), as it brings together other Bullowa's but haven't had a chance to verify that they are all one family. Probably need Stefan Buchinger's help to check that.

In 1850 Theresia was a widow in Luditz. In 1859 she was a widow in Prague.
One Theresia Bullowa (b. ~ 1820) then departed from Hamburg on 14 Sept 1860 on a New York-bound ship with children Joseph and Maria.
I don't know about a "Maria" -- I wonder if that should be Moritz? The age (15) is about right for someone born 1844.
I also wonder why her grave only mentions that she was the mother of Moritz...? Will have to see what became of Joseph.
