Geni has turned off the ability to add profiles to country portals, because profiles really should be in subprojects (if anything).
Unfortunately, some requests are kinda caught up in the system at the moment, so they keep getting sent and re-sent to all portal members. For example, I've received I think nine requests now to add James Burns, I, but it's not possible to approve them and just furthers this cycle where we all keep getting the same requests repeatedly.
So if you get requests to add a profile to the Irish Portal, please just *decline* them. It'll help all of our notifications out. :)
