Just merged a Profile created from a GEDCOM import with one of mine - mine was chosen as Primary, it had the person as Living -- the other had the person as Deceased, with a Death Date -- Do not know which of those is relevant
Display at top on Merged Profile showed it as Deceased, with Death Date from the new Profile --
BUT - when I clicked on Edit - it showed nothing in the Date of Death Field - not sure if I clicked Save or back-arrowed or what I did - do know I was entering info in the Timeline Event About - and it is now missing - so think that was the editing of Death that Revisions Tab is reporting, but not sure --
NOW - Profile no longer shows Date of Death or Death Location -- Revisions Tab says I edited Death then
AND - Revisions Tab says Date of Death at time of Merge, and when I looked at it then, and NOW is June 28, 2018 - And gives Place of Death --
BUT Profile and Edit Screen do not show a Date of Death or a Death Location
Mike Stangel - this involves a merge with a Profile created from a GEDCOM update - but suspect it is not a GEDCOM problem - but do see it as a Problem! I can send you a link to the Profile
PS - entered info in Death's About again - it took this time - Revisions Tab again reports editing of Death, still shows claim that there is Death Date and Death Location - but there is not
