Please try to find a book name "The McClung Genealogy" by Rev. William McClung written 1904 and published in Pittsburgh, PA. On page 149, you will find information about Samuel McClung (Nicholas Sam, Wildcat Sam). He was my great great great Grandfather by way of my father Charles Edward Tyree, his mother, Sarah Martha McClung Tyree, her father Samuel McClung, his father Anthony McClung son of Samuel "Nicholas Sam, Wildcat Sam." After his wife, Elizabeth Rader McClung's death in 1831, Samuel married again see page 151 in book, to a Miss Surber (Hannah) in 1833. They had one child born 2-14-1834 and named him Samuel McClung, page 151 in book. Your records show Samuel "Wild Cat Sam" died in 1828. How can this be??? I have not been able to find out when he actually died or where he is buried but I know it had to be after 1833 or 1834. Also, Joseph McClung "Sinking Creek Joe" had 9 children. You have left out Mary "Polly" McClung m. 6-7-1796, Thomas Feamster page 153 of book. Please check this out and correct records if you find errors. Thank you, Charlene Tyree Perry
