I do not believe that the Coat of Arms shown belongs to the Meyer
Willem Meyer Family tree. As a small boy I vividly remember our family coat of
arms that my late father Cornelius Johannes Jansen van Vuuren Meyer
had hanging on our wall at home. Our coat of arms was a simple embroided
design, made of fabric and nothing as elaborate as the Coat of arms depicted
Unfortunately I do not know what ever happened to it when my parents left East London
and moved to Natal
