Förslaget att använda "Google Översätt" är inte dumt. Jag använder det nästan dagligen. En del stavfel får man försöka rätta till (och Google är inte felfri heller) men i allmänhet kan man förstå andemeningen i det som skrivs. Roligt att en svensk kung dyker upp här. Frågan är hur många som är riktiga blodsfränder och inte bara ingifta. Ni gör ett fantastisk arbete med detta släktträd. Hälsningar från Björn.

Hey all! A small language contest/fight is ongoing :-)
The suggestion to use "Google Translate" is not bad! I use it almost daily. Some spelling mistakes you have to try to correct (and Google is not flawless either) but in general one can understand the spirit of what is written. Funny that a Swedish king appears here. The question is how many people are true blood related and not just related by marriage. You people do a fantastic job with this family tree. Greetings from Björn.

(He was Lord of Rydboholm Castle in Roslagen)
* Johan Christiernsson (Vasa) is my second cousin 15 times removed.
(Johan was first cousin of Charles VIII of Sweden's father, Knut.)
* Karl VIII Knutson is My fourth cousin 16 times removed.

I have king grandfathers through other paths, nobles and mistresses,.
Also I'm related to most of the President's of the United States (all except Woodrow Wilson).

Be careful! Only DNA can establish or make it probable that there is a true blood relationship. There is a juke in Sweden: "Most (if not all) people in Sweden are related to Gustav Vasa", which is probably true :-) in a sence (if we don't count all later imigrants and their descendants). But if there are solid, written provinances - everything is possible...

Björn ~ adoptions happen, infidelity happens, mistakes by Geni.com users happen ~ yes, it's all possible. In one of the languages you asked whether any of us are related other than by marriage. I have a blue line to Gustav Vasa. He wasn't even on my radar until yesterday, so thank you. According to Geni.com (and reliable sources of documentation) Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden is my 7th cousin too. I would love to know if King Carl XVI Gustaf has taken a DNA test.

Before my father died I thought I was 100% Danish. It turns out I'm not Danish at all. I'm from Holstein. According to my DNA results, I'm 42% from Holstein, 25% Forbes from Aberdeen Scotland, 20% from Norway (King of Norway Magnus "Barfot" Olavsson is my 24th Great Grandfather) and I have only 13% of my DNA from Sweden. I don't think Magnus Barfoed had his DNA taken.
