If anyone is feeling medieval, take a look at this line, which seems to have some time traveling and skipped generations.

Showing as 26th gg and should be more like 37th.

I’m looking downtree for the immigrant Ancestor to approach that way.

I did add a few references so I think the tree is legit, just messed up in source chronology.

There doesn’t seem to be a lot of evidence presented for parents of Mary Dudley

I moved her to possibly a daughter of Richard Sewall & Mary Sewall as it seems https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/160656723/mary-dudley is suggesting - but more sources have no parents for her.

Opinions?

So where does Geni jump the shark on the D’Arcy tree?

I can’t find parents for Captain Thomas Edward Ashby, I

He was not a son of John Turner Ashby, Esq., Cassique, of “Quenby”

I think There’s still a shortcut somewhere.

This post mixes two families with similar names, Sewell and Sewall. Both are distinguished families with a lot of Henrys who father a Samuel. The Sewall family is the line of Samuel Sewell of the Salem Witch Trials. The Sewell family were merchants and farmers. Many of the Sewall family fled to Canada before or during the Rev. War. Sewells fought in the Continental Army and Virginia Militia.
