Wrong parents, wrong birth date, wrong first wife, wrong children, etc. etc. etc.
Possibly at least as much of a mess on faux first wife's side.

I suspect that where it goes haywire was someone trying to fake Royal ancestry for Robert Owen and/or Jane Vaughan.
Indications are that Robert Henry Owen, II, Atty.'s father's first name was Humphrey, which means he was NOT a brother of Sir Hugh Owen, Bart. (father's name John).
Which probably means that Sir Hugh has been mis-grafted onto this tree.
Sketchy ancestry for Robert Owen found in http://owenfamilyassociation.org/ofanewsletters/Vol.23.1%20print-em... - documentation slim to none, however, and it should be noted that the writer was ignorant of Welsh patronymics. ("John Lewis Owen" and "Hugh Lewis Owen" should be John AP Lewis Owen and Hugh AP Lewis Owen, respectively.)
Footnote: Robert Henry Owen, II, Atty. appears to have been merged with a brother Henry - he did not have a middle name. (Middle Names were Not A Thing in the early 17th century.)
It also looks as though two different Robert Owens have been mash-merged, one a Cromwellian officer, one a Quaker. (One of them has a birthdate of "October 20, 1628", which invalidates his pedigree.)
Ok so I not connected to Humphrey Owens and the Robert Owens and Jane Vaughan lady. I saw it was mess in half sorry guys. Been so wiped out from doctors Appointments haven’t had much time to look up any more on these guys but if I find anything else will let you all know. I just put on profiles what I found for all. Thought it looked as if it went to Humphrey Owens. Hopefully I can help get this mess figured out
