This is a problematic record because it names the child born 5/5/1844 and baptised 1/9/1844 at Glen Lynden (Oost Riet Rivier) as Sophia Elizabetha. The father, Cornelis Johannes’s, death notice does not list such a child and instead lists Anthony Michael. It is not possible that this Sophia Elizabetha could have died and an Anthony Michael been born in the period to Cornelis Johannes’s death on 12/10/1844. It can be seen on the record that the child baptised after this one is also named Sophia Elizabetha (Van Dyk). The best explanation would appear to be that the dominee got confused when making the record and that this is Anthony Michael.
