I think it better to set up the project with an Italian text and have an English short text for the American and non-Italian speaking family members.
If we had more Italian speaking Geni users, we had more texts in Italian. I usually copy-paste Italian texts if they are available.
I think it time to find more italian speaking curators and active users.
