Update: I found the marriage bond for Lester Wilson and Joan Copeland in Arkansas (21 June 1942). There was also an indexed divorce between Lester and Nedies Wilson in 1947 in Genesee County, Michigan.
Looking further into Nedies: Copeland does not appear to be her maiden name as I had assumed. I found her first marriage to a Clifford Murphy on 02 Feb 1930, the day before her 15th birthday. On her marriage license her name is Nedies De Journett, daughter of Ettie De Journett. She is also listed in the US Census for 1930 as Nedis A. Murphy; living with her parents Charlie and Eddie DeJournett. Nedis is 15 years old.
She seems to have had a child in 1934, Bonnie Louise Murphy in Missouri. (Bonnie married in 1950 in Genesee County, Michigan.) What happened to Neddies' first husband?
I can't find her second marriage between 1934 and 1942 to ? Copeland. What happened with this marriage?

Fourth marriage to Lewis A. Swartwood 30 Aug 1947 in Arkansas (Neddies Joan Wilson). Lewis died 16 June 1994; what happened with this marriage?
Fifth marriage to Lorraine Nathaniel Flink 19 Oct 1970 in Genesee County, Michigan (Nedies Joanne Swartwood). She died in 1977 in Genesee County with the surname Swartwood.
I don't remember Aunt Shirley and Grandma speaking about Nedies having a daughter that lived with them while she was married to Grandpa Wilson. But it seems her daughter also moved to Michigan.
