I can see that you do not know the rules of Geni - none of us can be removed as managers because neither "6 times" or "8 times" is near family. I would be happy to suggest that you are included among the managers.

Moreover, you cannot rely on the relationship path of Geni, there may be several other paths. Since Rasmus Pedersen Thestrup is my 11th grandfather, I could easily argue for a “blue path”: his son Oluf Rasmussen Thestrup (11th great uncle)– Frands Olufsen Thestrup (son) – Christian Frandsen Thestrup (son)– Frands de Thestrup (son) – Mathias Christian de Thestrup (son)
As you may know there are two main lines of descendants from Rasmus Peder Thestrup 1) Oluf Rasmussen Thestrup and 2) Mette Rasmusdatter Thestrup (my 10th grandmother). I have studied that family for more than 30 years.
