I am unable to uncover much information about my grandmother (Rose Gromley)'s parents. I only know my great grandfather was orphaned and adopted by a Witkosky. His Biological father's name was Scmidtt ( unsure of spelling) . His mother was disowned by her parents when she married him. Her family was from Berlin, Germany with a last name of Geove. Her family( so it's said) was wealthy and his family was not.
